About the event

We are doing things a little differently for our March Mortgage Clinic. We will be welcoming Roger Morris, Director of Sales & Distribution & Richard Angell, Head of Intermediary Sales & Distribution at Tandem Bank who will be training on the following areas:

Assessing Bank Statements

Are they as simple as we think?… What are lenders looking for?…

This session will provide an in-depth view of Bank Statements, looking to explain how an underwriter will assess them and highlighting areas of important detail.

How to read Accounts

How can we understand the work of the accountant? The self-employed sector of the workforce is a long time underserved, Tandem Bank will look to take you through the process of reading and understanding accounts to allow you to place this type of business with confidence.

How to read a Credit File

A minefield of data, what does it mean? Tandem Bank will provide an in depth view of the credit file, highlighting key areas of interest that will allow you to broaden your understanding of how they are used to assess a mortgage application.

This will be an interactive session and you will be welcome to ask questions throughout.
